(August 21, 2013; Sequatchie, Tennessee) – Cody Webb proved that he’s fast becoming one of the top extreme off-road racers in the world by taking an impressive win at this year’s Kenda Tennessee Knockout, held this weekend at the beautiful Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee.

Webb, who splits his time between riding the U.S. National MotoTrials Series and various extreme off-road races (he was the 2010 national trials champ), including a regular slot in the GEICO AMA EnduroCross series, utilized his trials skills to his advantage at the TKO, hopping from rock to rock on his American Beta-backed 300 RR two-stroke, while most of the field struggled with the slippery conditions.

At the end of the rugged and slick eight-lap main event, Webb crossed the finish line with nearly three minutes to spare over the competition.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Taylor Roberts, who is not used to east coast conditions, finished a strong second after holding off a late charge from third place finisher Cory Graffunder on his Team Husqvarna.

Fourth place went to Webb’s American Beta teammate Max Gerston, while fifth went to French World Enduro star Fabien Planet, who was racing the event at the invitation of the U.S. Sherco importer, Sherco Offroad.

Last year’s winner, Mike Brown, had an off day and finished seventh.
