Larry Pegram To Race Four Wheels

Larry Pegram will be racing this weekend.  Not at the Peoria TT. Not at a road race track somewhere either. Pegram will be trading two wheels for four, racing a PRO Buggy sponsored by RealTree Outdoor Energy Drink in the The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series this weekend at RedBud.

The deal was put together by Pegram’s friend Mark Kwamme from RealTree Energy Drink, the team’s title sponsor.

“I enjoy all kinds of racing, on two wheels, as well as on four,” Larry said in a press release. “And, when my friend Mark talked to me about joining the TORC Series up at RedBud, I couldn’t thank him enough for giving me this rare opportunity. I’ll be racing in the PRO Buggy class, which features rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive, purpose-built racing buggies with lots of suspension travel and lots of horsepower. It should be a lot of fun.”

The weekend is a doubleheader for the TORC series with full days of racing on both Saturday and Sunday. Racing will air live this weekend on SPEED if you want to watch Pegram’s progress.

“If anything, it’ll make for an interesting episode of my TV show ‘Superbike Family,’ that’s for sure,” Larry added. “We’ll be taping up there at RedBud so, regardless of how I do, it’ll be captured on video for my show, in addition to the races being shown live on Speed.”
