Video: Washougal National MX Highlights

Cycle News Staff | July 22, 2013

The 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship visited the Pacific Northwest for the Peterson CAT Washougal National. In the 450 Class, Washington native Ryan Villopoto got his first ever win as a professional at the famed track with 2-1 moto scores. KTM’s Ryan Dungey put up a great fight and won the first moto but could not hold off a determined Villopoto in Moto two.

In the 250 Class, the points race has drawn even tighter after Eli Tomac proved once again that as soon you let him get out front, he’s gone. Good starts in both motos allowed Tomac to take convincing wins. Despite the fact that Roczen was quickly into second in the second moto, Tomac was able to pull clear of his championship rival.

The series will head to Millville Minnesota this Saturday, July 27th. Get more info here: http://www.allisports.com/motocross
