Product Showcase: AGV 2014 Pista GP Helmet
Cycle News Staff | May 23, 2013
The AGV 2014 Pista GP Helmet was developed with MotoGP Champions and has been upgraded for 2014.
AGV conducted a study about variations in head shapes to create a more comfortable helmet, and also utilized input from riders such as Valentino Rossi, Stefan Bradl, Andrea Iannone, Lukas Pesek and Danilo Petrucci to fine-tune its AGV Pista GP Helmet.
The new Pista GP will have an increased field of vision, bigger air vents, in addition to more refined aerodynamics, especially at top speeds.
AMA Pro SportBike rider James Rispoli was the first USA rider to don the new Pista GP helmet at the Daytona round. The Pista GP will be available to the rest of us in the USA in limited quantities starting in October 2013, but it is available for pre-order now ($1,399.95).
