Interview: Josh Strang

Shan Moore | March 27, 2013

How quickly things can change. At one time, Josh Strang was sitting on top of the off-road world (at least in America). He was the 2010 GNCC Champion and was in the process of defending that title in 2011 when everything went to hell for the Aussie off-road star.

His 2011 title hopes all but vanished when he suffered a big crash at the Unadilla round of the GNCC Series, and then it certainly went away when he suffered a badly broken leg at the final round of the series. And to add insult to injury, shortly thereafter, he got the bad news that Suzuki was going to indeed abandon its off-road program and he would now have to find a new team – not an easy task when you’ve got a broken leg and your physical well being is uncertain with the racing season just around the corner.
