Repsol Honda held the official launch for their all-Spanish MotoGP team in Madrid today, with veteran Dani Pedrosa and rookie Marc Marquez showing off the new livery, while a new management structure was also announced.

There were few surprises for Repsol’s 19th year as the sponsor of Honda’s team in the premier class. The graphics are dominated by the orange and red colors of Repsol, with clothing sponsor Gas the only other company given prominent placement on the fairing

HRC Executive Vice-President Shuhei Nakamoto explained the new team structure. Livio Suppo has been promoted to Team Principal, Takeo Yokoyama was named Team Technical Director and Hideki Iwano tagged as Team Director.

The Repsol Honda MotoGP team will hit the track for the first time in 2013 when they arrive in Malaysia for the February 5-7 test. They’ll test in Sepang again later in February, then become the first factory team to test at the Circuit of the Americas. The Austin test is scheduled for March 12-14. The final test of the season is in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain later in March.

The first MotoGP machines expected to test at the CoTA are CRT squads Attack Racing and GP Tech. The USA wild cards will test for Bridgestone on February 14, with Blake Young riding the Attack Kawasaki.
