One of the more colorful road racers of the 1970s, early ’80s was Dale Singleton. Singleton won the Daytona 200 twice before going on to try his hand at racing in Europe. Here’s Singleton on the cover of Cycle News on April 25, 1979 a month or so after he won his first 200.
