RCH Racing’s Josh Hill will be forced to sit out the next few rounds of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series after suffering a slight concussion and a hand injury in the opening round last weekend at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Hill fell during the second practice session and was unable to continue.

“We made the decision as a team,” said the team’s manager Kenny Watson. “If it was up to Josh, he would be in Phoenix this weekend to race, but for precautionary reasons, we are going to make sure he’s 100% healthy before he goes back out there. It’s a bummer that Josh got injured, but we’re still behind him 100% and we’re expecting good results when he gets back. Morale is still high and everyone will be working hard for Broc in Phoenix.”
