MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo will wear an HJC helmet in this year’s MotoGP World Championship, the Spaniard having inked a deal with the company.

According to HJC, it is the world’s largest helmet manufacturer.

“We are very proud to sign Jorge Lorenzo for the 2013 season as well as our other top riders,” said George Hong, President HJC America.

For 2013, Lorenzo will race in HJC’s new RPHA 10 helmet. Joining him on the MotoGP grid will be Ben Spies, who has helped develop several HJC helmets including the HJC RPHA 10 – throughout his longstanding relationship with the company. A new RPHA 10 Lorenzo replica will also be available in the spring, according to HJC.
