AmPro Yamaha Announces Off-Road Team

The AmPro Yamaha Factory Off-Road Team has finalized its program for the 2013 season and will officially field a three-man team for the new year, two of them will be returning riders.
Paul Whibley, the 2012 GNCC and OMA Champion, has resigned with the team and will defend both his titles on the Yamaha YZ450F.
“I’m looking forward to getting back into the States and down to the AmPro Yamaha Team base,” says Whibley. “We have a solid platform there and after spending the last three years building our program, it feels like we are heading back to our family! It’s been nice to chill here in New Zealand for a while, but it’s time to get back to business. I have begun training again in preparation for the 2013 season, after what seems like an ever-shrinking off season. I’m looking forward to running the number-one plate on the bike and trying to fend off the challenge from the pack of hungry young riders!”
Jordan Ashburn is also back and will ride the Yamaha YZ450F in the GNCC Series, as well as select rounds of the OMA Series.
New to the team is Jesse Groemm from New Jersey. Groemm will ride a Yamaha YZ250 two-stroke in the AMA National Enduro Series, as well as select rounds of the GNCC Series aboard a Yamaha YZ250F four-stroke.
“This is truly an opportunity of a life time for me,” says Groemm. “I can’t thank AmPro enough for giving me a shot at my dream. I love racing the National Enduro Series and look forward to a year of learning and mentoring from one of the best enduro racers in history.”
