Race Tech is proud to announce the Rock River Yamaha Racing Supercross and Motocross Team will use Race Tech Suspension for the 2013 Supercross and Motocross seasons. Race Tech will provide the Rock River Yamaha team with the latest in suspension technology and tuning; including Race Tech’s award winning Gold Valves, RT Hi-Performance Springs, and Ultra Slick Suspension Fluids.

Race Tech and the Rock River Yamaha team have already been putting in many hours of testing and tuning with the team’s 2013 lineup. For 2013, longtime Race Tech rider Ben Lamay returns to Rock River and will headline the team in the 450 Class in Supercross and Motocross. Dalton Carlson will be lone the 250SX West Coast rider, while Chris Johnson, Joey Peters, and Seth Caldwell will represent Rock River Yamaha and Race Tech on the East Coast in the 250SX class.

“Rock River Yamaha is excited to work with Race Tech for the 2013 Supercross and Outdoor Season. Ben Lamay has been a longtime Rock River rider and Race Tech user, and we have seen fantastic increases in his confidence in the suspension since he has worked with (Race Tech). They are expanding their program to help the rest of the team for 2013, and we are grateful for their involvement in our program,” said Rock River Yamaha Team Manager Christina Denney.

Ben Lamay is excited about the increased involvement of Race Tech with the Rock River Yamaha program, “Ever since I started working with Race Tech Suspension they have given me the best support possible, and to have them apart of Rock River Yamaha is going to be awesome being at the track! My suspension is amazing and always does what I need in any circumstances.”

“We have had an interest in working with the Rock River Yamaha team for quite awhile. Ben (Lamay) has been a longtime Race Tech rider, and he has a great relationship with Rock River. His mechanic, Scott Lillis, spent time working as a technician for Race Tech and after spending time testing alongside our R&D team; he brings a solid understanding of our technology to the program,” Race Tech’s Director of Marketing Chris Riesenberg explained.

Riesenberg continued, “Christina and the whole behind the scenes crew at Rock River Yamaha do an amazing job and have a great level of excitement and passion to continue elevating the Rock River program. We are excited to bring them the suspension support they need to reach those goals, all the while, the testing and development will help continue to improve our product and grow our brand.”
