With THR Motorsports/Monster Energy/Precision Concepts Kawasaki partner Robby Bell riding the Big 6 finale in California, Pearson was forced to ride the race solo, but he simply needed to start the race in order to wrap up the series championship after the pair won two other rounds.
Pearson trailed Ricky Brabec, who shared the second THR bike with Ty Renshaw, for the first of three laps around the fast 46-mile-long course, but then passed Renshaw on the second lap and cruised to a comfortable victory in two hours, nine minutes and 33 seconds, unofficially.
Brabec/Renshaw held on for second in 2:12:46, while Purvines Racing Kawasaki’s Nick Burson and Justin Morrow claimed third overall, third Open Pros in 2:17:29.
Jeremy Purvines and Ryan Smith wrapped up the 250cc Pro championship by winning that class for the fourth time this season and also earned fourth overall, unofficially, on their Purvines Racing Kawasaki.
Todd Abrotowski and Steven Fuller were fifth overall and the Over 40 Pro champs on yet another Purvines Racing Kawasaki.
