It’s official: Danny Eslick will join Roger Lee Hayden in the Michael Jordan Motorsports fold for the 2013 AMA Superbike Championship, replacing Ben Bostrom.

Eslick, who won the 2011 AMA Daytona SportBike Championship, will ride the ex-Bostrom #23 Jordan Suzuki GSX-R1000 while Hayden will return to the National Guard-backed side of the team, the team having renewed its partnership with the Guard for a fifth season.

Eslick finished eighth overall in last year’s AMA Pro Superbike series on the Team Hero EBR with three podium finishes. Eslick’s best result of the season was a second place at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida.

Hayden, meanwhile, won his first-ever AMA Superbike National in the first of two races at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He earned seven podium finishes on the year and ended up third in the championship.

“It’s all about the goal of winning a championship,” said Kreig Robinson, MJM Vice President of Corporate Relations. “Each year we work tirelessly to improve upon the last. Through intense off-season development and testing, we try to come up with the formula that will put us on top every race. We are looking forward to a good 2013 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike season.”
