Irvine, CA (November 8, 2012) – The upcoming stars of the GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship are recognized via the MAVtv Junior EnduroCross Championship. It is a series within a series with riders 21 years of age and under eligible. Past Junior Champions include Lucas Oil/Rockstar backed Colton Haaker, the winner of the 2012 Las Vegas opener and Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Taylor Robert, who is currently second in the 2012 Expert points chase. The young riders battling for the 2012 MAVtv EnduroCross Championship prove that there is a large group of talented riders knocking on the door of the established stars.

Arizona’s Bryan Roper will enter the Las Vegas finale as the top ranked rider eligible for the MAVtv Junior EnduroCross Championship. The nineteen year old is currently in 15th in the Championship with 34 points. Ryan Sandoval is next in line with 28 points. The Yamaha rider qualified for his first main event of the year at the Boise, Idaho round and Sandoval is gaining momentum. Oregon’s Keith Sweeten is a few positions back with 22 points but with the double main event format in Las Vegas, there are plenty of points available to pull himself into contention for that number one plate.
