The oft-injured Josh Hill has signed a deal to join Broc Tickle on the Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Suzuki/RCH Racing team for the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross season on a Suzuki RM-Z450.

Hill, who won the Minneapolis Supercross in 2008, is looking forward to a third season with team owner Carey Hart, who has brought legend Ricky Carmichael into the fold this year.

“It feels great to be back with the Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Suzuki RCH Racing team this year,” Hill said. “We’ve already been putting in a lot of hard work to get to us where we need to be at Anaheim 1. I’m looking forward to a great season.”

Hart is also happy to have Hill back.

“I am really excited to welcome Josh back for a third season with the team,” said team owner Carey Hart. “Josh has had a tough couple of years and it wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t support him with the major progress he has made. Josh and Broc [Tickle] will work well with Ricky [Carmichael] and we are going to see great things from the guys this year.”

For Carmichael, the goal is getting Hill back to where he was in 2009, prior to the serious injuries he suffered in July of 2010 (shattered right femur, broken pelvis, broken right humerous and compartment syndrome in his left leg).

“I am excited to have Josh on the team,” Carmichael said. “He is still pretty young and we are looking forward to helping him get back to where he was in 2009 and getting him the results he deserves – to do that we need to keep him healthy. He has great potential and a great attitude and I look forward to working with him.”
