Dean Wilson To Race Pro Circuit Kawasaki

Kit Palmer | November 20, 2012

We received official word today that 2011 250 National MX Champion Dean Wilson has secured a ride with his former team, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki.

Wilson, who had originally signed with the Jeff Ward Racing Kawasaki team for 2013 but found himself suddenly without a ride when JWR folded a few weeks ago, will compete in the Lites class in Supercross then move up to the 450 class in the outdoor Nationals.

Wilson is just getting back up to speed after suffering a shoulder injury late in the Supercross season and hasn’t raced since. Depending on how the shoulder feels over the next few weeks, he’ll either ride the West Series or wait a little longer for the East Series to begin. Time will tell.

Wilson’s deal with Pro Circuit is for two years. His second year on the PC team will be exclusively on the 450 and he will pit out of an new additional Pro Circuit rig alongside PC’s usual 250 set up.
