It was announced today at the Motocross of Nations in Belgium that the 2015 edition of the Motocross of Nations will be held in the United States at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California.

“The Motocross of Nations has a great value in motocross, because it takes place in the best venues in the world with the best riders in the world, so in order to keep this value and to continue developing the event we cannot consider not to bring the MXoN back in the USA,” said Giuseppe Luongo, president of Youthstream, the event’s organizer. “I’m very please to announce that we found an agreement to go back to Glen Helen, one of the best tracks in the world, and I believe that all the motocross fans will like the idea.”

Dr Wolfgang Srb, FIM/CMS Director, added, “For all of us, Glen Helen is a magic name and it is so important to be back in the States to celebrate the MXoN. I’m sure that the event will be outstanding, because we know very well the promoters and all the fans in USA, Canada and the surrounding countries will be able to go and feel part of this fantastic event.”

The last time the MXoN was held in the U.S. was in 2010, when the Thunder Valley track in Lakewood, Colorado, had the honor. Glen Helen recently held FIM World MX rounds in 2010 and 2011.
