Brayton Back To JGR Yamaha

The Joe Gibbs Racing MX/Toyota Yamaha team has been re-united with Justin Brayton. Brayton rode with the team during the 2010 and 2011 season then was acquired by the Honda Muscle Milk team in 2012 season, where he finished seventh in the outdoor Nationals in the 450 class and fourth in the Supercross Championship.

“I’m excited to be back, it’s like a family at JGR and the bike is really good,” Brayton said.

JGR team owner Coy Gibbs said, “Justin always gives 100 percent and takes great care of our sponsors, we are glad to welcome him back to the team.”

The Muscle Milk Honda team thanked Brayton for his service in 2012. “Justin rode his heart out this season,” team manager Erik Kehoe said. “Despite a lot of challenges this year, he really stepped it up and the team really appreciated his efforts. We wish him all the best as he moves on to the JGR team in 2013.”

Honda’s team will be made up of Trey Canard and Justin Barcia.

Brayton’s contract with the JGRMX team is for two years.

His first race on the JGR Yamaha will be at the Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas, October 20.
