Victory Motorcycles USA took the wraps off its 2013 lineup and the big news is the arrival of a brand-new model, the Victory Boardwalk. The Minnesota-based company describes the new Boardwalk as a classic-styled cruiser with “relaxed ride” in its DNA.
Victory Boardwalk
The Boardwalk is built around Victory’s platform 106 Cubic-Inch Freedom V-Twin motor and offers a new two-piece seat, a low 25.9-inch seat height, large open floorboards and the widest handlebars of any Victory model. A new fuel tank holds 4.7 gallons.
It rolls on 16-inch spoked wheels (150mm rear/130mm front) fitted with whitewall Metzler tires.
Victory says the Boardwalk can be easily and quickly be converted into a light bagger with the addition of Victory’s Lock & Ride accessories, which allows the rider to install or remove accessories without the need for any tools.
The Boardwalk will be available in Pearl White for $15,899 and Gloss Black for $15,499.
The rest of the Victory line is very familiar, which includes the recently announced Victory Judge, available in colors Suede Nuclear Sunset, Gloss Sunset Red and Gloss Black.
In all, Victory will be offering 14 models in its three – cruiser, bagger and tour – categories, and all of them will again be powered by Victory’s Freedom 106 V-twin, six-speed (with overdrive) motor.
Three Victory models will again get the Ness touch. Next year’s limited-edition Ness Signature Series will include the Arlen Ness Victory Vision Tour ($25,999), the Cory Ness Cross Country Tour ($28,999), and the Zach Ness Cross Country ($25,999).
