FMF/Am Pro Yamaha’s Paul Whibley struck again in the 2012 OMA National Cross-Country Series, this time at the HangMan Cross Country in Hanging Limb, Tennessee, June 10.

Whibley has won all five rounds held so far, extending his points lead to 28 over Red Bull KTM’s Russell Bobbitt and Husaberg’s Nick Fahringer who are tied for second place.

Bobbitt and Fahringer continued their see-saw battle over second place and second place in the series with Fahringer getting the advantage over Bobbitt this time. Fahringer took second and Bobbitt third. The two have swapped 2-3 positions in every round since the beginning of the 2012 championship.

Fourth overall went to Husqvarna rider Daniel Janus, and fifth overall went to FMF/Am Pro Yamaha’s Jordan Ashburn.
