No Budds Creek For Stewart

Paul Carruthers | June 14, 2012

James Stewart won’t be back in action this weekend at Budds Creek, the Yoshimura Suzuki rider writing on his Twitter feed that he’s still not ready to race.

“Sad to say but I won’t be at Budds Creek this weekend,” Stewart wrote this afternoon on Twitter. “Things are getting better, but still not where I need to be to be racing this Saturday. Good luck to everyone racing this weekend and I look forward to being completely healthy in a few weeks so I can race how I started the year.”

Stewart suffered a hand/wrist injury when he crashed out of the second moto at the Lakewood National in Colorado two weeks ago. Stewart finished fifth in the first moto last weekend at Mt. Morris, but sat out of the second moto.
