Lima Half Mile A Go!

Cycle News Staff | June 30, 2012

Despite the heavy storms that moved through the Midwest to the East Coast yesterday, the Lima Half Mile is a go for today, according to AMA Pro Racing. High winds and heavy rain resulted in electrical outages around the area, but the Allen County Fairgrounds is powered up with facilities being prepped for the AMA Pro Harley-Davidson Insurance Grand National Championship presented by Motorcycle-Superstore.com and Lucas Oil.

Timed practice begins at 3 p.m. ET and opening ceremonies at 7 p.m. ET. From 5:45-6:45 p.m., fans can come into the paddock and meet their favorite rider. Fans are encouraged to come out and watch the stars of AMA Pro Flat Track take to the unique pea gravel half-mile.
