Remember Motocross Cat? Now You Will
Cycle News Staff | May 2, 2012
For more than 40 years Cycle News chronicled the motorcycle industry in a weekly newspaper format. Now “America’s Motorcycle Weekly” is back, both in Cycle News weekly digital editions and a real-time interactive website. To commemorate this triumphant return, Cycle News is also bringing back another blast from the past: Motocross Cat!
The limited edition run of T-shirts featuring Tony Bell’s iconic comic cat straight from the pages of Cycle News is now available. “It is important that we remember our roots… and we are pretty sure that long-time Cycle News fans will remember reading about Motocross Cat’s on-track exploits,” recollects Cycle News General Manager Sean Finley. “Of course not everyone lives in the past, so we will also be unveiling some other exciting new elements for the publication moving forward,” says Finely.
Available in sizes S-2XL, the commemorative Cat shirts will retail for $24.95. In addition to the MX Cat shirts, check out the Team Cycle News gear, including trucker hats, CN logo shirts and of course, stickers! Guaranteed to add at least 5 mph to your top speed in any benchracing session, Cycle News stickers are available in both 1.5 inch mini versions and the full-sized 3.25 inch stickers. http://store.www.cyclenews.com/
