Ben Townley, the former World Champion who seemingly has had a black cloud over his career the past few years, has been injured once again.

According to reports from Australia, Townley crashed during practice for the second round of the Australian Motocross Championship at Coonabarabran in New South Wales and suffered a possible dislocated hip.

The Coonabarabran round was to be Townley’s final race before heading to the U.S. to start preparing for the AMA Motocross Nationals on Chad Reed’s TwoTwo Motorsports team.
