AMA Pro Racing has announced the final schedule for the 2012 AMA Pro Flat Track season – a 17-race championship that started at Daytona in March and ends in Pomona, California, in October.
The series will feature six rounds of Expert Singles (three short tracks, three TTs) and 11 rounds of Expert Twins (six half miles, five miles). Two of those short tracks were held in Florida last month with Johnny Lewis and Matt Weidman earning their first career Grand National wins at the Daytona Short Track.
The only change since the schedule was released earlier in the year is that USA Raceway has been renamed to Tucson International Raceway and the recently-announced half-mile, scheduled for October 6 as the penultimate round on the schedule, will now be called the Tucson Half-Mile.
The two previously announced TBA events will not be on the schedule. The series is as follows:
