Racer Killed At Phillip Island, Superpole Cancelled

Australian road racer Oscar McIntyre was killed today in the Australian National Supersport class at Phillip Island, forcing promoters to cancel today’s World Superbike Superpole session, according to Fox Sports News in Australia. McIntyre was 17 years old.

Tomorrow’s two World Superbike races will be gridded based on today’s qualifying.
