Marquez Still Ailing

Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez, the rider who goes into the 2012 Moto2 Series as the favorite to emerge as World Champion, has postponed his comeback following his eye surgery in January.

Marquez, second in last year’s Moto2 World Championship to Stefan Bradl, was slated to take part in the February 8-10 test at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, but that’s no longer going to happen.

According to his team, Marquez is continuing to recover from the surgery that took place at the Barcelona Hospital Clinic. The surgery was to correct the double vision issues the young Spaniard was having following his crash during practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix in October.
