Garrison Wins Mesquite WORCS

Monster Energy Kawasaki Bobby Garrison won the third round of the World Off-Road Championship Series in Mesquite, Nevada, February 25-26.

Garrison won both days of racing, topping Kyle Summers, Taylor Robert, Mike Brown and Justin Soule on Saturday, and then Robert, Summers, Soule and Brown on Sunday.

In the Pro 2 class, KTM’s Ivan Ramirez took the win by a little more than 10 seconds over defending champ, Kawasaki rider Justin Seeds. Third went to Huskqvarna’s Cory Graffunder, followed by Ian Blythe (KTM) and Justin Jones (Hon).

Kawasaki rider Brandon Leith topped the Pro 2 Lites division, followed by KTM pilot Eric Yorba and Yamaha-mounted Ryan Sandoval.

Honda rider Tatum Sik won the Women’s Pro class ahead of Kacy Martinez (KTM) and Nicole Madsen (Suz).

In the race for the WORCS pro title, Robert and Brown are tied at the top of the leaderboard with 121 points each. Garrison is third with 119, followed by Summers with 115 and Soule with 112.
