Tickle On Moving Up

After five years in the AMA Supercross Lites class, Monster/Pro Circuit’s Broc Tickle will make his Supercross class debut at Angel Stadium on January 7 after getting pointed out of the Lites class.

“I think it’s a blessing in disguise that I got bumped up to the Supercross class,” said Tickle in a release from Feld Motorsports. “I’m excited to race with the top guys who have been around for a while. My main goal is to be consistent and run up front.”

Tickle, who won the Western Regional Lites Championship last year with a win and seven podium finishes, made his 450cc debut at the Monster Energy Cup.

“Riding the 450 suits my style better,” Tickle said. “Before I was a bigger guy on a Lites Class bike, and I feel the KX450F is really where I need it to be. I’ve been training on the KX450F for a while now and am feeling pretty comfortable. Overall, I’m really happy with the bike. I’m pretty thankful to be with Kawasaki and Pro Circuit. I’m happy they gave me the opportunity to stay with the team and transition to the 450.”
