WERA Motorcycle Roadracing would like to welcome back Michelin as Title Sponsor for the 2012 WERA National Challenge Sprint Series and also ridersdiscount.com for their return! The 2012 WERA West Schedule has been finalized and the events will start on January 8th with Fastrack Riders on the 7th at Autoclub Speedway; then February 11/12 a double header sprint weekend at Las Vegas Classic Course April 7/8 Practice and Solo races Saturday and Sportsman Sprints Sunday at Las Vegas Classic Course; May 19/20 will find the National Endurance on Saturday and Sportsman and National Sprints on Sunday at Miller Motorsports Park; July 8th Sportsman Sprints at Buttonwillow Raceway with Fastrack Riders on the 7th; September 23rd Sportsman Sprints at Autoclub with Fastrack Riders on September 22nd and the final round will be another double header at Las Vegas Classic Course on November 3rd and 4th!The remainder of the 2012 WERA Schedule will be released by month’s end – we are waiting on 3 tracks to confirm dates for us…..stay tuned!WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was founded in 1973 and remains the foremost place to develop talent in the sport of motorcycle Roadracing. The legacy of Pro riders on a National and World level is legendary. All events are run by WERA Motorcycle Roadracing and they go coast to coast offering entry level racing with the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series as well as a Pro-Am Series with the Michelin/WERA National Challenge Series which includes the only traveling Endurance Series in the US using the World Endurance platform for most of the rules.
