Lorenzo Out Of Valencia Grand Prix

Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo has been ruled out of this weekend’s MotoGP season finale in Valencia, Spain, the Spaniard missing his home race after undergoing plastic surgery to repair the ring finger of his left hand that was injured in morning warm-up for the Australian Grand Prix three weeks ago.

Japanese Yamaha test rider and All-Japan Superbike competitor Katsuyuki Nakasuga will fill in for Lorenzo as he makes his second appearance in the MotoGP this season.As for the 1000cc M1 test that follows Sunday’s Grand Prix, Yamaha says its lineup for that will confirmed on Monday.
