2012 EnduroCross Schedule

With a little over a week before the final round of the 2011 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship in Las Vegas, the 2012 schedule has been officially released. The big news is that the 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Series, presented by Lucas Oil, expands to eight, from seven, rounds, and will, once again, included two rounds at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

The series will kick-off in Las Vegas, Friday night, May 4, the same weekend as the final round of the AMA Supercross Championship, which will be held Saturday night, May 5, at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

Round two on June 9 will be held for the first time in Sacramento, California, at the Power Balance Pavilion.

The first two rounds of the EnduroCross Championship will also act as qualifiers for round three of the series, which will, once again, be part of the X Games in Los Angeles. Only the Expert class will be held. The date for the X Games round has not yet been announced.

Round four will again visit the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California, September 15, followed by stops in Denver, Colorado (October 6), Evert, Washington (October 20), and Boise, Idaho (October 27). The 2012 season will conclude at the Orleans Arena, November 17.
