Latus Motors Racing’s Jason DiSalvo will go from his Ducati 848 EVO to a Triumph Daytona 675R for this weekend’s final round of the AMA Daytona SportBike Series, according to his team.DiSalvo raced a Triumph for a portion of last year in the World Supersport season.”I got a really good feeling for the Triumph in Europe last year, and I’ve had my eye on our team’s Daytona ever since George [Latus] and Ronnie [Saner] brought it in for Dustin [Dominguez] to ride in SuperSport,” said DiSalvo in a team release. “Now that I have my own Daytona, I’m really looking forward to having some fun with it this weekend.”

DiSalvo is currently third in the season point standings with three wins, including the season-opening Daytona 200. He also has four pole positions on his Ducati.

“We’ve been very impressed with the Triumph’s performance this year,” said George Latus, owner of Latus Motors Racing. “Dustin’s done a fantastic job with the bike in Supersport and we’re interested to see how Jason will do in Daytona SportBike. I’m sure that whatever happens this weekend will make for some lively conversations in the off-season.”
