Date Change Causes Problems For Indy Mile

Officials are working on the return of the Indy Mile AMA Grand National race in 2012 after the race was canceled due to investigations of stage collapse on a portion of the track during a music concert at the Indiana State Fair. But the new date of the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix (August 17-19, 2012) is presenting some challenges for Family Events, the promoter of the Indy Mile.
