Brown Tops Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro

Tennessee-native Mike Brown was the top survivor at the first running of the KENDA Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro held at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee, August 28.
Mike Brown held on to win the Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro.
The race featured a four-round format that would trim the 50-plus-rider field to just 10 riders for 10-lap the main event.
Brown rocketed to the front of the pack in the final, and he would stay there through out the race, though former AMA National Trials champ Cody Webb would get close to him by the final lap. Brown, however, found himself with some breathing room after Webb tipped over and stalled his bike.
Webb got going quickly enough to maintain second place at the finish on his factory-backed Beta.
Third went to one of Canada’s top extreme off-road riders, KTM pilot Bobby Prochnau.
New Zealand’s Rory Mead finished fourth, while OMA star Paul Whibley rounded out the top five overall.
Jordan Ashburn, Kyle Redmond, Wally Palmer, Colton Haaker and Michael Williams finished out the running order.
Taddy Blazusiak, who won the Indy Endurocross and few nights earlier, didn’t make it past the first round after falling and damaging his bike to where it was impossible to finish.
