KTM is on top of the motocross scene in Europe, but it’s quite a different story in the United States. The Austrian manufacturer is still scratching at the podium in the AMA Supercross and Motocross championships, but step by step, they’re getting closer, and with some of the youngest and brightest stars in motocross now riding orange – and chomping at the bit to compete in America – it might only be a matter of time before KTM is on top in the U.S.

Several years ago, KTM enlisted the help of one of the winningest riders in World Motocross G.P. history, Stefan Everts, to help groom young talent in Europe. Riders such as reigning MX2 World Champion Marvin Musquin, AMA breakout star Ken Roczen, and 16-year-old sand sensation Jeffrey Herlings are currently under his tutelage.While at Glen Helen for the U.S. GP, Everts took time to talk to us about grooming…
