Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa underwent more collarbone surgery today to repair a small fragment of bone that had dislodged during his rehabilitation. The surgery, conducted by Dr. Xavier Mir and Dr. Cesar Garcia Madrid, was performed at the USP Institut Universitari Dexeus and was declared a success by the doctors.

Whether or not Pedrosa will be able to compete in the Dutch Grand Prix, June 23-25, has yet to be decided.”We believe the surgery was successful as we were able to fix the fragment of bone of his collarbone in a very stable way and because of this we are confident that in 48 hours it will be possible to begin rehabilitation of his right shoulder,” Dr. Mir said.
