| May 23, 2011

Paul Whibley recorded his third straight win in the Off-Road Motorcycle and ATV Nationals in Rio Grande, Ohio, May 22, at the DP Brakes Coal Miner Cross Country.

Whibley put his Monster Energy Yamaha into the early lead, just ahead of JG Offroad GEICO Honda’s Jimmy Jarrett. The two riders fought it out for four laps until Jarrett crashed out of the race with a suspected broken collarbone.

Whibley went on to claim his third win of the four races held so far. Whibley’s Am Pro Yamaha teammate, Jordan Ashburn, crossed the finish line seven minutes later in second place.

Scott Watkins, on the GEICO Moose Racing Honda, rounded out the top three overall.

Fourth place went to Kay’s Motorsports Kawasaki of Illinois’ Adam Bonneur, while fifth place went to Suzuki rider Shane Klimek.
