Lorenzo, Spies Visit Thailand

Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies paid a visit to Thailand today en route to Spain and Texas, respectively, following the three-day MotoGP test session at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia. The two Yamaha stars spent the day with over 10,000 fans in Bangkok, with Lorenzo leading a procession of Yamaha riders around a closed course with Spies flagging the the start for the 600 some riders who rode with a police escort through the city streets to the event.Both riders took to the stage and were greeted by Chief Executive Officer of Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd, Fumiaki Nagashima and the Head of Big Bike Division Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. Thanachai Lekavanichkul before taking part in interviews and then signing autographs for the many fans.Spies will now return to Texas and Lorenzo to Spain for some time off before they return to Malaysia for the second Sepang test on February 22.
