What does Larry Pegram have in common with Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and Snooki? They all star in reality television programs about their hectic lives.”Superbike Family,” a series that follows Pegram and his family as they compete in the AMA Superbike championship, will air for the first time this coming Saturday morning, Feb. 26, on Discovery HD Theatre.Produced by Chet Burks Productions, the company that produces the AMA Superbike races, as well as the well-received “CafĂ© Racer” show, the six-episode series follows Pegram at his home in Baltimore, Ohio while he juggles family and career.Pegram runs the most successful independent Superbike team in the paddock, with help from his parents, Jim and Mary, and a loyal crew. While at home, he balances his racing commitments as he and his wife, Heather, raise their two young daughters.”The show is about my dream of becoming a Superbike champion,” Pegram said in a press release. “Actually, it’s our dream. My parents have been helping me race motorcycles since I was a kid and they’re still here at every race working on the crew. My mechanics are the best and are so committed to this team. They do as much if not more than teams who have twice the manpower. We even have sponsors that after writing the check, help out on the weekends working in the pits. It’s definitely a family effort and we’re real proud of what we have accomplished going up against the factory teams. It’s not easy but all of us are chasing our dream.”The “Superbike Family” will initially air at these following dates and times:Saturday, February 26th11am – Superbike Family Ep. 1
