De Puniet to Ducati Pramac Racing for 2011

VALENCIA, SPAIN, NOV. 6 – Ducati Pramac Racing made official what everyone’s known for some time, Frenchman Randy de Puniet will join the team of veterans for 2011.De Puniet was thought for most of the silly season to be staying at LCR Honda, where he’s found a home. But at the Australian Grand Prix the rumors began that he’d be moving to the Pramac team as Loris Capirossi’s teammate. Those rumors gained strength when Toni Elias, the Moto2 World Champion, signed on with the LCR Honda team. The announcement of de Puniet’s signing was just a formality.”I am incredibly excited about this new adventure that will begin next year,” de Puniet said. “I would like to thank the Pramac Racing team principal, Paolo Campinotti, for this great opportunity and the confidence that he has placed in me.
