Aubert Extends Lead In ISDE

For the fifth day in a row, Frenchman Johnny Aubert posted the fastest overall time at this year’s International Six Days Enduro in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. Aubert’s teammate Rodrig Thain was second fastest, as the two riders sit first and second in the E2 division. France continues to lead the team standings in the World division, with Italy and Finland holding second and third ahead of the US squad.

In Junior Trophy competition, The US squad, competing without Cory Buttrick, who was injured on the opening day, sits third in the standings behind Spain and Sweden.

Meanwhile, the US holds second place behind France in the Women’s class.

In individual competition, American Kurt Caselli was fourth fastest in the E1 division behind leader Antone Meo and Eero Remes. Mike Brown and Ian Blythe were sixth and seventh, respectively.

In the E2 division, Aubert and Thain led Finland’s Juha Salminen, while Destry Abbott was top American in the class in 14th.
