Millsaps to JGRMX

Coy Gibb’s Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team has solidified its lineup for 2011 with the addition of former Red Bull Honda rider Davi Millsaps. The 22-year-old Millsaps, who will join Justin Brayton in next year’s AMA Supercross and National Motocross Championship Series, will run the number 18, which is the first number Joe Gibbs Racing ran in NASCAR 19 years ago and currently on Kyle Busch’s M&Ms and Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry.Millsaps fills the void left by the departure of Josh Grant, who, interestingly enough, jumped to Team Honda for 2011.After winning nine amateur national titles and a Lites Supercross Championship, Millsaps struggled off and on with injury and illness after moving to the 450 division, however, the 22-year-old brings three Supercross wins to his credit in the premiere division.

“I’m making some major changes in my program and look forward to having the best season of my career,” said Millsaps.”Davi moved into a place near our NASCAR and motocross shops so he can train with our in-house fitness staff. He is focused and eager and I am excited to have him join the JGR family,” adds team owner Coy Gibbs.
