Honda, Ten Kate to Stay Together for Three More Years

Honda Motor Europe will continue to back the Dutch company Ten Kate Racing in the World Superbike Championship for the next three years.The companies have won a total of nine world championships, one in World Superbike and eight in World Supersport, including this year’s World Supersport title won by Kenan Sofuoglu.Hannspree Ten Kate Honda’s Jonathan Rea finished fourth in this year’s World Superbike Championship with four wins. Teammate Max Neukirchner finished the season a disappointing 18th.”We are very happy to remain loyal to Honda,” Ten Kate’s Gerrit ten Kate said. “We have enjoyed a really good relationship for the past decade and enjoyed multiple world championships and race wins together. This new three-year agreement will enable us to continue with our technical development, our rider programme and to maintain a strong team structure. In the next few weeks we will finalize those three ingredients to prepare for the future.”
