Top GNCC racer Chris Bach has just inked a two-year deal with American Beta to ride the factory Beta 450 RR in the Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC) and select rounds of the AMA National Enduro Series.

In his rookie season in the XC1 class, Bach has been a surprise after turning in four podium finishes in GNCC competition. The Indiana racer currently sits fifth overall in the XC1 point standings, and is eager to starting his relationship with Beta. “I’m really looking forward to the 2011 season on my Beta,” says Bach. “The bike has amazing potential and I feel it is a perfect match for my riding style.”

According to American Beta’s Tim Pilg, “We’ve been scouting Chris for a few months, we feel he has all the right tools to put Beta on top. The combination of Chris’ work ethic and our 450 will be tough to beat next year. My staff and I are very excited to have Chris, his mechanic Ben Weathers, and good friend Troy Ross on board.”

Beta will field a two-rider team for the 2011 GNCC series including Bach in the XC1 and another A-level rider to be announced in the near future. Beta is also offering a rider support program through its dealer network.

American Beta is the sole US importer of Beta motorcycles from Florence, Italy. Beta has been a family owned manufacturer since 1904 and is most notably known for their class-leading trials bikes as well as their all-new line of off road competition and dual sport range.
