Jonah Street to Race Rally Mongolia

Dakar Rally star and stage winner, Jonah Street will be racing the 2010 Rally Mongolia, August 9-16. By competing in this Asian Rally, Street will have raced motorcycles in professional rallies on six different continents.

After Monday’s start in Ulaanbaatar, riders will average 400 km per day in deserts much like those that Street traverses each January in the Dakar Rally through Argentina and Chile. The rally route also travels on high plateaus, through plantations and over mountains as tall as the 6,400-foot Mt. Otgon Tenger, which lies in the Khanaai Nuruu range in the center of this ancient country bordered by China and Russia.
