Last Chance for Advance U.S. GP Tickets (05/27/2010)

Press Release | May 27, 2010

The following is a press release from Glen Helen Raceway…All Active Military is welcome to attend the USGP at Glen Helen in recognition of Memorial Day. “Our service men and women give so much to this great country, so the Glen Helen staff and I wanted to give something back,” notes promoter Bud Feldkamp. “Since this race marks the return of the historic U.S. Grand Prix concept, pitting America’s best against the world, and it is Memorial Day, all active military in uniform are invited to attend Sunday’s racing action free of charge.”

For non-military, it is almost too late to get advance tickets to see the best motocross racers in the world as they contest the sixth round of the MX1 and MX2 World Championships on May 29-30th. “The final two Golden Tickets for the Race Of The Century will be drawn on Friday,” notes Feldkamp. The two winners, one international and one local, will be drawn at random from the USGP advance ticket holders. Lucky winner will be presented with a weekend at the South Point Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Previous Golden Ticket winners have been drawn from Australia, England and Germany. “Since the best motocrossers in the world will be at Glen Helen, we figured it would only be fair to award an equal number of Golden Tickets to GP fans visiting us from other countries,” concludes Feldkamp.

Advance tickets are still available at the Glen Helen website: www.glenhelen.com. Day of event tickets will be on sale at the gate for Saturday’s qualifiers and Sunday’s main events, as well as Pro Paddock passes.
