3J’s Track Day Raises $27,000

The following is from Infineon Raceway…A 3J’s Motorcycle Track Day raised $27,000 for charity on Wednesday at Infineon Raceway.The event kicked off festivities for this weekend’s West Coast Moto Jam, which will feature AMA Pro Road Racing, Supermoto USA, Motocross, Flat Track and the first-ever zero-carbon motorcycle race in the country with the TTXGP U.S. Championships.More than 80 riders converged on the raceway for a day of recreational riding around the 12-turn, 2.28-mile road course, which also featured a catered lunch, T-shirt, raffle and an evening reception. The event raised $27,000, which will go to qualified youth groups in Sonoma County through Speedway Children’s Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway.“It was a great day,” said Jere Starks, one of the co-founders of 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days and vice president of facilities and operations at Infineon Raceway. “The riders were out there riding with their friends on our road course and they had a lot of fun. We were also able to raise money for charity, which is the main thing.”3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have generated more than $250,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities since 2003.
