Wey Back With Brown Motorsports

Press Release | March 12, 2010

The following is from Brown Motorsports…At Round 10 of the Monster Energy Supercross series the Dewitt, Mich. native Nick Wey will return to the TiLUBE Brown Motorsports team. After a six race hiatus from the team where he filled in for the injured Monster Kawasaki rider Chad Reed, Wey will be back on the team he started the season with. The Toronto round is one of the closest events to Wey’s home state and he is excited to get back on his TiLUBE Brown Motorsports steed.

Wey had this to say about his homecoming to the team, “We have a handful of faithful sponsors, Babbitt’s, Foremost and TiLUBE who are all based out of Michigan and the Midwest area. I’m looking forward to representing them at the Toronto round and I’m ready to prove the team we put together can be a legitimate threat.”

Entering the Toronto round, Wey sits 8th in points and is looking forward to breaking into the top five as the series has just passed the half-way point. Team manager and engine developer Allan Brown is also ready.

“We have continued working on the Kawasaki 450 over the winter and are very excited to have Wey back under our tent.” Said Brown. “Even though he was aboard a factory Kawasaki motorcycle, I feel Wey will have no problem transitioning back our team bike.”

If you’re in the Toronto area, be sure to stop by the TiLUBE Brown Motorsports truck at Rogers Centre and welcome Nick back to the team.
