MX for Children Returns

Press Release | February 18, 2010

Following is a press release from Monster Energy Supercross…After four strong years of support, Feld Motor SportsSM and Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, along with MX for Children are pleased to announce the return of the Inside Line Experience during the 2010 Monster Energy Supercross season.

This season, MX for Children’s fundraising activities are scheduled for the Toronto (3/13), Houston (4/10), and Seattle (4/24) rounds of the 2010 schedule. 100% of MX for Children’s pledge drive funds go to supporting research for treating hydrocephalus – the #1 cause of brain surgery for children. These efforts help improve the lives of kids that must endure multiple brain surgeries to live.

“We’re entering into our fifth year of fundraising and we are super-pumped to once again be able to partner with Monster Energy Supercross” said Paul Gross, founder of MX for Children. “We’ve got a lot of supercross fans already raising funds in our event cities and we look forward to raising the fundraising bar once again to help out our cause”.

“It’s pretty cool that MX for Children raises money for such a good cause,” said Ryan Villopoto. “I can see all the hard work they put in every time I meet them at the race, they are always a dedicated group and always big dirt bike fans.”

In years past, the biggest stars of the sport like Chad Reed, James Stewart and Ricky Carmichael have participated with MX for Children and their fundraising program the Inside Line Experience. For 2010, that trend will continue as the Monster Energy Kawasaki, Honda Red Bull Racing, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki and DNA Shred Stix/Division 7/Star Racing Yamaha teams will take part in the three events.
